Mixed Mental Health is a connection platform. We help you search, filter, and shortlist therapists and then contact them via their own channels.
We do not offer clinical advice, and we do not hold clinical records.
Why this matters: in mental health spaces, clarity is part of care. It protects users from oversharing in the wrong place, and it keeps expectations realistic so trust doesn’t quietly fray.
If you have a question about Mixed Mental Health, need help using the directory, or want to get in touch about a listing, partnership, or general enquiry, you can contact us here.
If you’re unsure whether it counts as “urgent”, it’s still OK to reach out for help. You don’t need to be at your worst to deserve support. (Samaritans)
We use trust signals to help clients make informed choices while staying clear that a listing is not a clinical guarantee.

What verification is not:
We designed Mixed Mental Health to minimise sensitive data.

If something feels off, you can tell us.

What happens next:
We’ll review, may request clarification or edits, and may pause/unpublish a listing while we assess. If the issue suggests immediate danger, we will signpost you to urgent support services rather than trying to “hold” a crisis through MMH. (Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust) Contact us to report and issue.
We do not treat identity as a tick box. Some therapists may name lived experience; others may speak to training, reflective practice, and cultural humility. Where identity is referenced, it should remain optional, respectfully held, and never demanded.
We aim to create a space where mixed heritage experiences are treated as real and nuanced, not something you have to justify.
A directory can narrow the field, but fit is relational.

No browsing is free and available to everyone.
We don’t “match” or recommend clinically. We help you find options and you choose to make contact with the therapists you want to find out morer about.
No. We prioritise outbound contact to keep Mixed Mental Health from becoming a clinical messaging space.
